India's modern superstar Virat Kohli has set another record on Thursday. Kohli has played 29 Test matches to achieve the historic feat. Under Virat Kohli's captaincy, India won 22nd on home ground in Ahmedabad. While the Indian team has won 21 matches under the captaincy of Dhoni at home.
Since making his captaincy debut in the longest format of the game in 2014, Kohli has, for the most part, succeeded in which he has greatly improved the Indian team.
Kohli has already won 35 matches in 59 matches, the most in Test wins among Indian captains. Dhoni had 27 wins in 60 Tests. Other famous leaders of Team India like Sourav Ganguly and Mohammad Azharuddin had 21 and 14 Test wins respectively.
Playing against England in the four-match Test series, Team India is also making a place in the World Test Championship final. England had defeated Kohli and Co. early after a 227-run win in the first Test in Chennai, but the team has since lost.
