With the help of skipper Prithvi Shaw (227 not out) and Suryakumar Yadav (133), Mumbai scored a mammoth 457 for four in the Vijay Hazare Trophy match against Puducherry at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur.
This is the highest score by any team in the Vijay Hazare Trophy. Earlier on 20 February, Jharkhand had scored a mammoth score of 422 runs in 50 overs against Madhya Pradesh. Now Mumbai has broken this record of Jharkhand on the fifth day itself.
Opener Prithvi Shaw faced only 152 balls in his innings. During this, he hit 31 fours and 5 sixes. Prithvi Shaw has already scored a century against Delhi in the Vijay Hazare Trophy.
Suryakumar Yadav, who was in the Indian team for the T20 series against England in the match, also played a stormy century. He scored a century of 133 runs off only 58 balls. Suryakumar Yadav hit 22 fours and four sixes in his innings.
