Norway's women's handball team has been fined during the European Beach Handball Championships only because the players were not wearing bikinis.
Norwegian players wore shorts instead of bikini bottoms during the bronze medal match against Spain in Bulgaria. According to federation rules, players are required to wear bikini bottoms during the match.
The European Handball Federation has confirmed the fine has been imposed on the Norwegian team. Due to this, the Norwegian team has been fined 1500 Euros, or more than 13 thousand. Each player of the Norway women's handball team has been fined 129.50 euros.
According to reports, the officials informed that during the championship, the players had to play wearing bikini bottoms. In this regard, the Norwegian team violated the rules. Due to which the team has been fined.
