He also played an unbeaten 126-run century against Kerala on Friday. In this innings, he hit 13 fours and 2 sixes. This helped Karnataka defeat Kerala by 9 wickets.

Earlier Devdutt Paddikal also played a big inning of 152 against Odisha. The 20-year-old Paddikal has scored 427 runs in four matches in the Vijay Hazare Trophy at an average of 142.33. Devdutt Paddikal was retained by RCB for the upcoming season of IPL. This player was bought by RCB last season for only 20 lakh rupees.
