The world's third-largest cricket stadium will now be built in Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan. The Rajasthan Cricket Association has obtained the land documents for the proposed cricket stadium at Champ village on Delhi Road.
Jaipur Development Authority Commissioner Gaurav Goyal has handed over the lease of the allotted land for this stadium to Vaibhav Gehlot, President of Rajasthan Cricket Association.
Giving information in this regard, ICA President Vaibhav Gehlot said that the work of the stadium to be built in about 100 acres will be completed in two and a half to three years. The spectator capacity of this stadium will be 75 thousand.
Vaibhav Gehlot told that the foundation stone of this stadium to be built for 650 crores and Bhumi Pujan will be done in two and a half months. The work of this stadium to be built in Champ village on Delhi Road will be completed in two phases.
After the new cricket stadium of Jaipur is built, only Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad and Melbourne Cricket Ground in Australia will be bigger than that.
