The public rollout of coronavirus vaccines began Monday. Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday flagged off the nationwide COVID-19 vaccination campaign by getting vaccinated at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences in Delhi.
Shastri was chosen as the head coach of Team India in 2017. Under his coaching, the Indian team has managed to win the Test series on Australian soil twice in a row. Ravi Shastri has also been the director of Team India from 2014 to 2016.

According to Union Health Minister Dr. Harsh Vardhan, over 29 lakh people had registered online or through the Arogya Setu app by 8.30 pm on Monday, the first day of the public rollout of the coronavirus vaccine.
