With the help of stormy innings by opener Robin Uthappa (91) and Vishnu Vinod (71 not out), Kerala defeated Delhi by six wickets in the Syed Mushtaq Ali T20 Trophy. While batting first, Delhi scored 212 for four in the allotted 20 overs based on half-century innings of opener Shikhar Dhawan (77) and Lalit Yadav (52 not out).
In response, Kerala won by scoring 218 for four wickets in the scheduled overs. Robin Uthappa from Kerala scored 91 runs off 54 balls with the help of three fours and eight sixes. He shared more than a hundred runs with Vishnu Vinod for the fourth wicket.
Vishnu Vinod also scored 71 runs off only 38 balls. In this innings, he hit three fours and five sixes. For Kerala, Sachin Baby contributed 22 and captain Sanju Samson contributed 16 runs. Earlier, S Sreesanth took two wickets for Kerala.
