Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has once again targeted the Modi government if the central government talks with the farmers of no consequence.
In this regard, Ashok Gehlot tweeted that even the eighth round of talks between the central government and farmer organizations could not yield any result.
Farmers have been sitting on the road for 45 days in the cold. Despite this, the central government has given 7 days later for the next meeting. This shows the culmination of the Modi government's insensitivity. I hope that the Supreme Court will soon hear this case and decide so that justice can be done to the farmers.
Significantly, during the talks with the government on Friday, farmers were adamant on the demand to withdraw the agricultural laws and enact a law guaranteeing minimum support price (MSP). Now the next dialogue will be on 15 January.
