New Delhi has suffered a major setback to Indian cricket. Karan Tiwari, a club cricketer in Mumbai, got suicidal on Monday night. He was found dead at his Malad (East) home. A friend of his told that he was upset because he was not selected in the Indian Premier League (IPL). Karan was called Dale Steyn of Mumbai (Fast Bowler of South Africa).

The bedroom door of 27-year-old Karan Tiwari was locked from inside. When the door did not open at 10:30 pm, when the family opened the door, they were able to hang it from the ceiling fan. According to the police, Karan Tiwari committed suicide at the Gokuldham Konu compound. The police have registered ADR (Accidental Death Report). According to the Kurar police - ADR has been registered at the police station and the case is being investigated.

A friend told the news to his sister

According to police on September 19 after being selected in the IPL, which starts in UAE Karan was depressed as he was not selected for the tournament. Karan told his best friend over phone in Udaipur that he was going to commit suicide. He was sad for not getting a chance in the IPL. The friend informed about this by calling her real sister, who lives in Mumbai. Karan's sister told the mother, but by then it was too late. Karan was pronounced dead in the hospital.
