Five Rafale fighter jets were formally inducted into the Indian Air Force fleet today. Indian Defense Minister Rajnath Singh and French Defense Minister Florence Perley were present at the ceremony at Ambala air venue. The entire country is excited over the inclusion of Rafael in 17 Squadron.
Former World Cup-winning captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni also expressed happiness on Thursday that "the firepower of this powerful aircraft will increase further in the hands of IAF pilots".
Dhoni tweeted, 'With the induction of the world's best 4.5 generation fighter aircraft that have proved themselves in the war, they have also got the world's best fighter pilots. The firepower of this powerful aircraft will increase further in the hands of our pilots and between different aircraft of the Indian Air Force.
Dhoni's army love, who recently retired from international cricket, is not hidden from anyone. Mahi, who holds the honorary title of Lieutenant Colonel in the Territorial Army, has a great affinity for anything related to the Army. In the episode, he also revealed his favorite fighter aircraft.
In another tweet, Dhoni said, "I wish the glorious 17 Squadron (Golden Arrows) and we all hope that the Rafale Mirage will be able to leave the service record of 2000 behind, but the Sukhoi 30 MKI will remain my favorite aircraft."
