Six-time world champion Louis Hamilton of Britain won the Styrian Grand Prix Formula One race on Sunday, beating the Austrian Grand Prix failure.
Hamilton's team Mercedes finished first and second in this race. This is Hamilton's 85th career win and he is approaching the all-time record of 91 wins by seven-time world champion Michael Schumacher. Hamilton slipped from second to fourth due to a penalty in the Austrian Grand Prix.
In this same Austrian Circuit Red Bull rig, Mercedes's second racer Waltieri Bottas, who won the Austrian Grand Prix last Sunday, finished second this time and her championship lead has been reduced to six points.
Max Verstephan of Red Bull finished third in their home circuit. Both Ferrari drivers Charles Leclerc and Sebastian Vettel retired from the race after hitting the first lap.
