Lanka Premier League: Plunkett, Hafeez included in 93 cricketers list!


The Sri Lanka Cricket Board has decided to launch a new T20 league. The Sri Lanka Premier League is to be played in Sri Lanka in its first season in 2020, for which the board has started preparations. The Lanka Premier League (LPL) is scheduled to begin in Sri Lanka from 28 August this year, while the final match will be played on 20 September. There are very few cases of coronavirus here.

A total of 93 international cricketers have been listed for the first Lanka Premier League (LPL), including England World Cup-winning fast bowler Liam Plunkett and New Zealand fast bowler Tim Southee.

The tournament will have a total of 23 matches in the inaugural season.
