Kane Williamson hit a double century, New Zealand scored 519 runs!


With the help of skipper Kane Williamson's double century, New Zealand declared their first innings by scoring 519 runs in the first Test match played against West Indies in Hamilton.

Kane Williamson scored 251 runs in New Zealand's first innings. This is his best innings in Test cricket. Before this, his best score in the biggest format of cricket was 242 not out.

Williamson faced 412 balls in his innings, hitting 34 fours and two sixes. He shared a 154-run partnership with Tom Latham for the second wicket. Tom Latham also scored 86 runs. He hit 12 fours and a six off 184 balls. Jamieson scored 51 runs.
