MS Dhoni is one of the fittest players in the world even at the age of 39. The CSK captain still seems in complete shape despite quitting international cricket and playing matches for 2 months a year.
He has again appeared as the captain of the Chennai Super Kings in IPL 2021. CSK has won two games under its leadership this season and is outperforming the players.
During the CSK match against Rajasthan Royals on Monday, fans got to watch Dhoni's batting. He scored 18 runs off 17 balls. Dhoni was also seen making a dive while trying to reach his crease.
The veteran cricketer was asked about his post-match fitness, how he inspired himself to remain in shape for the IPL.
Dhoni said, "When you're playing, you really don't want anyone to call you unfit. Performance is something that is not guaranteed. I was not guaranteeing performance even when I was 24 years old, I could not guarantee performance even when I was 40 years old, but if at least people do not point a finger at me that I am unfit, then this is a big one for me. Would be a positive thing. I have to keep up with young people, they are very fast, it is good to challenge them.

The spin duo of Ravindra Jadeja and Moin Ali weakened the Rajasthan Royals batting to ensure a second successive win for Chennai Super Kings in the IPL here on Monday.
Cameos from Faf du Plessis (33 for 17), Dwayne Bravo (20 not out for 8), Ambati Rayudu (27 for 17), and Ali (20 for 26) helped CSK to 188.
Ali (3/7 in 3 overs) took three wickets, followed by Jadeja (2/28 in 4) with a classical turning delivery to Butler for his team. One of the best fielders, Jadeja also took four catches.
