IPL 2020: trampling RCB, SRH in fourth place in the score table now playoff battle become interesting


RCB vs SRH Live IPL Score: The wait for Royal Challengers Bangalore to reach the playoffs increased as Sunrisers Hyderabad won by five wickets in the second match of the doubleheader on Saturday night in Sharjah. This was RCB's third consecutive defeat. Defeating Virat Sena in a do or die match, the Orange Army moved up to fourth place on the basis of a better run rate in the table and kept their hopes alive to qualify for the playoffs.

RCB batting failed

Apart from Bangalore opener Josh Philip (32), no batsman crossed the 30-run mark. AB de Villiers scored 24 runs. Sunrisers captain David Warner won the toss and decided to bowl first, which was proved by Sandeep. Sandeep bowled the in-form Devadatta Paddikkal (05) after the opposing team captain Virat Kohli (07) was caught by Kane Williamson at short extra cover. The century of the team's runs was completed in the 17th over.

SRH bowlers made the match

The effective performance of the bowlers led by Sandeep Sharma prevented Sunrisers Bangalore for 120 runs for seven wickets. Sandeep took 20 wickets while Jason Holder took two wickets for 27 runs. Rashid Khan, Shahbaz Nadeem, and T Natarajan took one wicket each. Natarajan conceded just 11 runs in his four-over spell.

Holder won the match by hitting six

Sunrisers Hyderabad registered a resounding victory from 35 balls first five wickets. Deciding to bowl after winning the toss, SRH first stopped Royal Challengers Bangalore for just 120 runs and then won the match in 14.1 overs to reach number four in the table. SRH will now make it to the playoffs, defeating Mumbai in their last match.
