IPL 2020: David Warner completes 5,000 runs in IPL, breaks Kohli's record


Dubai: David Warner is known for his erratic batting. His batting is seen in every format. His bat has not spoken much in the IPL this season but when he is at the crease, there is a record behind him. David Warner has now scored 5,000 runs in the IPL. He became the first foreign batsman to score 5,000 runs in the IPL.

Chasing a target against KKR, David Warner completed 5,000 runs in the IPL when he completed his 14 runs. He completed the figure in the fastest 135 innings. Virat Kohli completed his 5000 IPL runs in 157 innings. Therefore Warner is also the first foreign player to achieve this feat. Before this, only three Indian batsmen have scored 5,000 runs in IPL.
