The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) and Cricket Australia (CA) have announced the teams for India vs Australia. India has announced the squad for the entire series including 3-T20, 3-ODI, and 4-match Test series. Hosts Australia has announced the squad for the white ball series only.



India tour to Australia: A big setback for India is that Rohit Sharma has not been included in the team. Sharma was ruled out of the upcoming Australia tour as he was injured in the IPL. KL Rahul and Kuldeep Yadav are back in India's Test team and fast bowler Mohammad Siraj has also been called for a four-match series in December-January in place of Ishant Sharma.

The BCCI said in a statement that they "will continue to monitor the progress of Rohit Sharma and Ishant Sharma".

Cricket Australia on Thursday announced the ODI and T20I squad for the upcoming series at home against India next month. Australia has handed all-rounder Cameron Green an international call-up, while veteran Moises Henriques has been recalled.

Injured all-rounder Mitchell Marsh has not been named in any team, led by Aaron Finch.
