Leg-spinner Vanindu Hasaranga (4 for 9) bowled brilliantly as Sri Lanka beat India by seven wickets in the third T20I to win the three-match series 2-1.



Playing first, the Indian team could score only 81 runs for eight wickets in the allotted overs. Sri Lanka achieved the target in 14.3 overs for the loss of three wickets. On his birthday, Sri Lankan spinner Vanindu Hasaranga made a world record in his name. Vindu Hasaranga took four wickets for just nine runs in his four overs in the third T20I.

This is the best performance by any bowler on the occasion of his birthday. In this case, he broke the world record of South African leg-spinner Imran Tahir. They took four wickets for 21 runs on the occasion of his birthday. At the same time, Yuvraj Singh, popularly known as the Sixer King of India, took 3 wickets for 23 runs on his birthday.
