India scored 62 for two on the rain-affected second day of the fourth Test match being played in Brisbane of the four-match Test series against Australia. The Indian team is still 307 runs behind Australia's score of 369. Both the Indian team openers Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill have returned to the pavilion. Rohit Sharma scored 44 runs off 74 balls. He hit six fours in this innings. While Shubman Gill could score only seven runs.
Cheteshwar Pujara was present at the crease with eight and captain Ajinkya Rahane scoring two runs until the day's play ended due to rain. Pat Cummins and Nathan Lyon took one wicket each for Australia. Earlier, on the basis of the brilliant bowler of T Natarajan, Washington Sundar, and Shardul Thakur, India has stopped Australia for 369 runs in the first innings.
