Australia scored 274 runs at the loss of five wickets on Friday on the first day of the final and decisive fourth Test cricket match of the Border Gavaskar Trophy against India, thanks to the century innings of Marnus Labuschen (108).



Australian team captain Tim Paine kept the Indian youth bowling under pressure till the end of the day's play, with 38 runs in 62 balls with five fours and young all-rounder Cameron Green at the crease by making 28 runs with the help of three fours in 70 balls.

For Australia, Matthew Wade contributed 45 and former captain Steven Smith contributed 36 runs. Playing the debut match for India, T Natarajan took the maximum two wickets. While Mohammad Siraj, Shardul Thakur, and Washington Sundar took one wicket each.
