Indian doubles duo Satwik Sairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty, solo player Sameer Verma were nominated by the Badminton Association of India (BAI) for the Arjuna Awards. The tenth ranking of the world will give India high hopes at the Tokyo Olympics. Together, the two have achieved many successes for India in the past. Historical gold medals at Thailand Open, French Open, and 2018 Commonwealth Games are some of the achievements that have made both shuttlers seem strong contenders for the Arjuna Award.
