The Pakistan team has been announced for the two-Test series against South Africa. Nine new faces have been added to this team making major changes.

Many star players have not found a place in the 20-man squad announced by chief selector Mohammad Wasim. Six players have been shown the way out of the Pakistani team that went on a tour to New Zealand. The players who are going out are also Shaan Masood, Haris Sohail, and Imam ul Haq.

Four players from this team of Pakistan will be dropped before the first Test match starts against South Africa. The hosts for this series South Africa will reach Karachi today.

In Pakistan's team, 36-year-old fast bowler Tabish Khan was also included, who made his first-class debut in 2002. He has taken 598 wickets in 137 first-class matches.
