Ingredients required to make Kheer
Rice - 100 grams
Milk - 2 liters
Sugar - 100 grams
Cardamom - 4 powder
Almonds - 8 to 10 finely chopped
Cashews - 8 to 10 chopped
Chironji - 1 tbsp
Ghee - 1 tbsp
First of all, you have to clean the rice and wash it thoroughly. After washing the rice, place the rice in a sieve for five minutes, so that all the water of the rice is sieved. After this, take a pan and add ghee to it.
Now you have to put the filtered rice in the pan and roast it on low flame while stirring the rice for 2 to 3 minutes. After this, add milk to a pot and add half a cup of water to it and keep it boiling. After the milk boils, add the milk to the roasted rice. You have to cook the rice while stirring it for 8 to 10 minutes.
