Sarkari Naukri: If the vacancies in all the departments of UP are added, then this figure will reach around five lakhs and these posts are to be filled in the next 6 months only.

There is good news for the youth of Uttar Pradesh. In the new year, there is a possibility of recruitment in about 5 lakh posts in various departments of the state. This is being claimed because the Chief Minister of the state Yogi Adityanath has not only asked for the details of the vacant posts in all the departments but has also directed to start the recruitment process for the vacant posts within three months. According to media reports, the Chief Minister has sought information from the Chief Secretary and other departmental heads about vacant posts in a week. According to the information, if the vacant posts are added in all the departments of UP, then this figure will reach about five lakhs and these posts are to be filled in the next 6 months only.

Three lakh jobs so far

The Yogi government claims that more than 3 lakh jobs have been provided in the state so far. In a press release issued by the government, it has been told that the government has recruited 1,37253 posts in Police Department and 54706 posts in the Basic Education Department. Similarly, 8556 jobs of Group B, C, and D, and 28622 jobs have been given under the National Health Mission in the Department of Medical Health and Family Welfare. Apart from this, recruitment has been made for 16708 posts through UP Subordinate Services Selection Commission and 26103 posts through UP Public Service Commission.

Similarly, the Department of Secondary Education has made 14000 appointments in government and aided schools and the Higher Education Department has made 4615 appointments in universities and colleges. Here, 1112 appointments have been made in Medical Education Department, 700 in Urban Development Department, 726 in Cooperatives Department, 614 in Finance Department, Technical Education Department, 365 in Vocational Education Department, and 6446 in Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation (Energy Department). 69000 in Basic Education Department, 16629 in Police Department, and 853 in Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation (Energy Department) are in process.

Total 5 lakh vacancies

The state government spokesperson was quoted as saying that there are more than 12.64 lakh state employees in the state, out of which about 3.25 lakh posts are vacant. 1500 posts of clerical cadre in aided council schools are being declared vacant. At the same time, under the Department of Secondary Education, there are about 32000 posts of teachers in aided schools and about 6000 posts in state schools. Here the vacancies of 10,768 teachers in government schools are not included in this. Similarly, in the Department of Higher Education, including the aided and state colleges, about 8000 posts are vacant. In this case, about 1.70 lakh vacancies in all schools and colleges are added, then the total number of vacancies will cross 5 lakh.
