- 6 slices of bread (cut into small pieces)
- Half a cup of rice flour
- Half a cup of curd
- Half a teaspoon cumin
- 1/4 cup semolina
- 1 onion finely chopped
- 1 piece of ginger (grated)
- a little green coriander (chopped)
- salt as per taste
- 1 cup oil
- a little curry leaves
- 2 green chillies (finely chopped)
- Mix bread pieces, yogurt, rice flour and semolina in a bowl and mix well.
- Cover separately for 20 minutes.
- Mix all the remaining ingredients (except oil) in it.
- Heat oil in a pan.
- Make medium size vadas with lubricated hands and fry them on low heat till golden.
Serve with coconut chutney.
