Material



1 cup sprouted moong


2 tbsp finely chopped onion

2 tbsp finely chopped tomato

1/2 tsp finely chopped ginger

1 tsp finely chopped green chili or as per taste

2 tbsp finely chopped coriander

1 tsp chaat masala

1 tbsp green chutney

1/2 tbsp tamarind chutney

1/2 tsp roasted cumin powder

1/3 cup whipped curd or 1 tbsp lemon juice

salt to taste

Method

* In a pressure cooker add the sprouted moong along with 1/2 cup water and salt. Pressure cook on high flame for 2 whistles.

* Reduce the flame and cook for 2 minutes. Allow the steam to escape before opening the lid of the pressure cooker. Let the sprouts cool to room temperature.

*In a large bowl combine all the ingredients except the whipped curd and lemon juice. Mix them well.

* This chaat can be served in 2 ways. Add whipped curd to the chaat and serve immediately.

*Alternatively, you can add lemon juice to the chaat. Both of these give great taste to this chaat.
