Recipe: Kheer becomes nectar in the moonlight of Sharad Purnima!

Today is the holy festival of Sharad Purnima which is celebrated as the birthday of Maa Lakshmi. On this day, the moon is filled with sixteen arts and gives Amrit rains, so kheer is made and kept in the moonlight at night. Today we have brought you the recipe of Kheer which you should make.



necessary ingredients

Rice - 100 grams

sugar - 100 grams

milk - 2 liters

almonds - 8 to 10 finely chopped

cardamom - 4 ground

chironji - 1 tbsp

cashews - 8 to 10 chopped

ghee - 1 tbsp

recipe

First clean the rice and wash it well.

After washing the rice, place it in a sieve.

Take a pan and add ghee to it. Now you have to put the filtered rice in the pan and roast it on low flame while stirring the rice for 2 to 3 minutes.

Now pour milk in a pot and add half a cup of water and keep it to boil. When the milk boils, add it to the roasted rice. You have to cook the rice while stirring it for 8 to 10 minutes. Keep it running.

When the rice starts melting, add sugar to it. Stir the mixture until the sugar dissolves well. When the sugar dissolves, add cashews, chironji and almonds to it. After this, you have to cook the kheer in a medium flame for 8 to 10 minutes.

After this add cardamom and cook for 2 minutes on high flame.

Kheer is ready.
