Along with women, men are also fond of jewelry. Some of us like diamonds. Some people like Gold and some people like Sapphire. But in Australia, a woman is becoming famous on the Internet by making jewelry from the teeth of dead people. The woman says that this is her hobby.
Jackie Williams is the owner of Grave Metallum Jewelers. She makes and sells teeth rings, bracelets, and necklaces of the dead. Some jewelry contains human remains. Like- hair or ash and even IUD (Intrauterine device) of a family member.
Jackie previously worked as a gardener in a local cemetery. He admitted that he was a little ill because the idea of making jewelry from the remains of dead people would not normally be thought of by a normal person. But she insists that her jewelry helps loved ones overcome grief.
Jackie tells that she makes jewelry from the teeth of a deceased member of her family only at the request of the customer. This is done only on special orders.
Jackie explains, "I do this because I want to help people deal with their grief and loss. It's something that will bring happiness to every living being."
It takes six to eight weeks to make each custom piece of jewelry. For every piece, Jackie charges from $ 350 to $ 10 thousand. The customer has to provide the metal itself.
Jackie did a Diploma in Jewelry and Object Design at Melbourne Polytechnic till 2017. After graduation, she also did a job in this field. Later started her own business.
