Navratri special: include Shri Khand in place of Kheer in fruit diet, very easy to make


Devotees fast on these days of Navratri. It is seen that kheer is mostly used in the fruit diet during fasting. But always a slight flourish will bring boredom. So today in this episode, we have brought you the recipe for making Shrikhand. It can be included instead of kheer.

necessary ingredients

Saffron - 1 pinch

Curd - 1 kg

Sugar - 1/3 cup (ground)

Hot milk - 2 tablespoons

Nutmeg Powder - 1 pinch

Cardamom Powder - 1/4 tsp

Almonds - 5-6 almonds (soaked and peeled)

Pistachio - 8-10 (soaked and peeled)

Mode of making

First of all, put curd in a muslin cloth and tie a knot and hang it overnight so that the extra water comes out.

- Mix yogurt and sugar well in a bowl. After this, add a pinch of saffron to it and beat it well.

After this, mix nutmeg and cardamom powder well in it.

- After mixing all the ingredients, keep it in the fridge for 1 hour.

Then finely chop the soaked almonds and pistachios.

Now take the Shrikhand out of the fridge and put it in a bowl and garnish with chopped dry fruits.

- Take your sweet shrikhand is ready. You serve it cold.
