Karnataka: 56-year-old patient suspected of coronavirus commits suicide


More than 600 people are infected in the country due to coronavirus. At the same time, 12 people have died. People are also afraid of this virus. The latest example of this is found in the Udupi district of Karnataka. Where a 56-year-old man committed suicide because he was feared to be infected with the corona.

The deceased has been identified as Gopalakrishna Madiwala. Who belonged to Narnadu of Uppur village in Udupi taluk. Sources say that they did not have any particular symptoms of being infected with the virus. He was awake till two o'clock in the night and was talking to his family members.

When other people got up at 5 am on Wednesday, they found his body hanging from a tree near the house. A suicide note has been found from his house stating that he feared to be infected with his coronavirus, due to which he is taking his own life.

The note asks family members to be safe. Locals say that the deceased had told a friend that he has a corona infection and is scared. Police say that they have taken such a big step probably due to fear of illness.
