Raw jackfruit - half a kilo

Salt - as per taste

Asafoetida - a pinch

Gram flour - 1 cup

Rice flour - ½ cup

Green chili - 2 finely chopped

Red chili powder - ½ teaspoon

Coriander Powder - half a teaspoon

Mango powder - half a teaspoon

Garam Masala - half a teaspoon

Celery - Half a teaspoon

Oil - to fry


Method :

Peel jackfruit peel and cut it into small pieces. Remove the skin of the seeds. Add jackfruit, half a cup of water, half a teaspoon of salt, and a pinch of asafetida to the cooker and mix. Turn off the cooker and cook until a whistle comes. Turn off the gas and let the pressure of the cooker drain automatically. Drain the water. Prepare the butter in a large pot with the help of one cup of gram flour, rice flour, salt, and water as required. Now add finely chopped green chilies, celery, red chili powder, coriander powder, mango powder, and garam masala to this solution and mix well. Add one teaspoon of oil to this solution and mix. Finally, add boiled jackfruit to this solution and mix. Heat oil in a pan. Put a small amount of jackfruit dipped in gram flour in the hot oil and fry it on both sides until golden. While frying jackfruit pakoras, keep in mind that it will take six to seven minutes to fry it. Take out the pakoras on tissue paper so that the excess oil comes out. Serve these pakoras with green chutney, tomato sauce, or chili sauce.
