Two young farmers living in Hisar, Haryana have surprised people by cultivating saffron on the roof of their house. Because till now, saffron was cultivated in Jammu and Kashmir in our country. But these farmers have surprised everyone by growing saffron in a unique method and earning a profit of about 6 to 9 lakh rupees.
During the lockdown, these farmers have shown this charisma using the aeroponic method. Explain that till now this method was used to prepare saffron crops in Iran, Spain, China. At the same time, in our country India, saffron is the most cultivated in Jammu and its supply is not only in the country but also abroad. But the unique work done by these farmers has proved that if you do any work with hard work, dedication, ascendancy, then the biggest work becomes easy.
These two farmers named Naveen and Praveen got all the information for the cultivation of brother saffron through Google and YouTube. After this, these two saffron seeds were brought from Jammu at Rs 250 per kg. As a trial in the lockdown, he started cultivating saffron on the roof of a 15 by 15 size room in his Azad Nagar home and completed the project from August to November 2020.
During the trial, Naveen and Praveen cultivated more than 100 kg of saffron, of which about one and a half kg of saffron was produced. For the first time, these farmers benefited from Rs 6 to 9 lakh from saffron cultivation. Both these brothers say that by implementing this project, the farmer of Haryana can double his income.
It will cost Rs 7 to 10 lakh to start a new project, in which many types of machines are installed. The farmer can earn a profit of 10 to 20 lakh rupees in a year by planting this project in his house.
Naveen and Praveen are demanding from the Haryana government that a subsidy be given to the farmers for the cultivation of saffron so that the farmer is financially strong. Not only this, if a farmer needs any information related to this business, both these brothers will help.
