Conservatorship case : Britney Spears's new lawyer filed a petition, appealing to be freed from father's protection


American singer Britney Spears has been in tremendous discussion with her father regarding the legal matter in the past. Britney had approached the court to be released from the tutelage of her father, Jamie Spears. Brittany made several statements to be freed from the Conservatorship. There were even reports that Britney had lost the case and had not been released from the Conservatorship. After that Britney got the right to choose her own lawyer in this case. Now Britney's new lawyer, Matthew Rosengart, has filed a petition seeking the removal of the singer's father, Jamie Spears, as custodian of her assets.

Along with this, Britney's lawyer has also made a proposal. He petitioned the Los Angeles High Court asking that his father be removed as guardian and that the responsibility be handed over to Jason Rubin, a certified CPA in Woodland Hills, California.
