According to the affidavit, the movable and immovable assets of Shah and his wife Sonlaben have increased from Rs 11.79 crore in 2012 to Rs 38.81 crore.
This Rs 38.81 crore property includes inherited property, movable and immovable property worth Rs 23.45 crore. At the time of filing the nomination, Shah had Rs 20,633 in cash, while his wife had Rs 72,578.
According to Amit Shah's affidavit, Shah and his wife have Rs 27.80 lakh in several bank savings accounts and fixed deposits of Rs 9.80 lakh. The annual income of Shah and his wife is Rs 2.84 crore according to their new income tax return 2017-18. Out of this, Amit Shah's income is Rs 53.90 lakh and wife Sonlaben's income is Rs 2.30 crore.
