Manoj Kumar has made a different image in Bollywood. He has acted in many patriotic films. The 1937-born actor made his Bollywood debut at the age of 20 with the film Fashion, which he himself considers to be his favorite film. Manoj Kumar did a wonderful job in Raj Kapoor's film Mera Naam Joker. She played the lead role for the first time in the film 'Kaanch Ki Gudiya'.

Manoj Kumar was born in a Brahmin family in Pakistan. At the age of ten, he left Abbottabad, Pakistan with his family and came to India at the time of partition. Stayed with the family for some time as refugees at Kingsway Camp in Vijay Nagar and later moved to Delhi.
