The second wave of Corona intensified in Germany, lockdown extended until 20 December


In Germany, the lockdown has been extended until 20 December, given Corona's speed. German Chancellor Angela Merkel said in a press conference after a meeting with the ministerial heads of the federal states that Germany announced to pursue the Corona virus-related sanctions by 20 December. Along with this, the limit of Corona related guidelines in Germany has also been increased till January.

Now a total of 9.85 lakh people have been infected, 15 thousand patients have died

Germany had a partial lockout on 2 November. Merkel said late Wednesday that a clear statement from the federation and the federal states said that we cannot lift the ban in late November. A total of 2.85 lakh cases have been reported in Germany, while around 15,000 people have died due to this.

There is no relief even in festivals

Germany is not relieved even during the festive season. Only a maximum of five members of two families will be allowed to meet each other. However, between 23 December and 1 January between Christmas and New Year, a maximum of 10 people will be able to meet each other, children below 14 years are not included in this. It has also been instructed that people should quarantine themselves for two weeks before this Christmas and after the New Year so that there is no risk of infection. Companies have been asked to give additional holidays to workers in December, in case they are not allowed to work from home.
