Even in this era of the Pakistan Corona epidemic, there is no way of spreading propaganda against India on global forums. However, he has had to face this time too. In a virtual meeting of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) at the United Nations, Pakistan accused India of spreading Islamophobia in India. The Maldives not only objected to this but said that the words of some 130 million Indians on social media platforms cannot be considered.

For a long time, Pakistani users have been spreading the propaganda that Muslims are not safe in India. In this sequence, Munir Akram, the Pakistani representative in the OIC, made many allegations against India. On this, Maldives Permanent Representative in the UN Thilmija Hussain said, "130 crore people of India cannot have the opinion of some people spread on social media.

He said that India is the largest democracy in the world. Apart from people of many religions, 200 million Muslims live there. It would be factually incorrect to speak of Islamophobia.

He said that India has had Islam for centuries. Islam is the second-largest religion in India. Muslims constitute 14.2% of the total population. He further said that Maldives will not support any such action in OIC which is against India.
