Prince Harry and Meghan's second child, Queen Elizabeth, and grandmother Diana's name in daughter's name

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's second child is a daughter. The new guest has been named Lilibet 'Lily' Diana Mountbatten-Windsor, after Queen Elizabeth II and Harry's mother Diana. The Royal Family has congratulated Prince Harry and the Duke of Sussex Meghan Markle on the birth of Lily.

This is the second child of Harry and Megan living in America. Before this, they have a two-year-old son, Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor. His daughter Lily will be the eleventh great-granddaughter in the royal family. Buckingham Palace said in a statement that members of the royal family, including Harry's father Prince Charles and brother Prince William, were delighted with the birth of the baby girl in Los Angeles.

William and Kate tweeted separately from their Kessington Palace Twitter account, saying that we are all delighted with the arrival of baby Lily. Congratulations to Harry and Megan. British Prime Minister Boris Johnson has also congratulated him. This is the first child in the royal family to have been born outside the UK. Harry and Megan settled in California last year.

The couple's press secretary issued a statement that Lily was born on Friday at 11.40 am. The Queen was given the surname Lillibet by her grandfather, King George V when she was a child. Now this surname has been added to the name of the daughter of Harry and Merkel.
