Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina expressed grief over the death of Bangladesh's Defense Secretary suffering from Coronavirus


Bangladesh Defense Secretary Abdullah Al Mohsin Chaudhary died on Monday. Mohsin, 57, suffered from the coronavirus. He is now survived by his wife, a son and a daughter. Please tell that after his report came positive, he was admitted to the military hospital in Dhaka on June 2. He was then moved to the ICU. But his condition continued to deteriorate, he was also given plasma therapy. However, after much effort, he could not be saved.

According to the Defense Ministry administrative officer MD Bhasani Mirza, Chaudhary died of cardiac arrest while undergoing treatment at the hospital. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has also expressed grief over her death. Hasina expresses deep condolences to the departed soul for peace and family.

Let us tell you that Chaudhary, born in Kamila in 1963, did a post-graduation in soil science from Dhaka University. Later he also did post-graduation in governance studies from the Northern University of Dhaka.

He earlier held the responsibility of Ministry of Fisheries and Livestock, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Industry, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. So far, there have been 1,41,801 cases of coronavirus in Bangladesh. While 1,783 people have died.
