Once again Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan has ruled out the possibility of any formal dialogue with India. After returning from Saudi Arabia, on Tuesday, Imran said that unless India withdraws the steps taken in Kashmir on August 5, 2019, no talks with him are possible. Imran also accused the Western countries of adopting a double approach on human rights matters. Imran has said this at a time when his foreign minister recently said that Pakistan has no meaning in Article 370 in Kashmir. This is an internal matter of India. With this statement of Imran, there has been a difference in the statements and actions of Pakistan once again.
Video of Imran going viral on social media
A video of Imran Khan has gone viral on social media after returning from a three-day tour of Saudi Arabia on Monday. In this video, he is addressing Pakistani Awam. In the video, Imran said that we should not forget that Saudi Arabia saved us from recent bankruptcy. In his address, he has also raised the issue of Kashmir. The Prime Minister of Pakistan said during the program of the Pakistani community on the Saudi visit that Pakistan was in a very bad condition in terms of economy. He said that we are trying to improve it. You have to remember that a few months ago we were on the verge of going bankrupt. We were then assisted by Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.
Pakistan's foreign minister gave a big statement
- Recently, there was a big change in the attitude of Pakistan on Article 370. Pakistan's Foreign Minister Mahmood Qureshi had said in one of his important statements that the removal of Article 370 is not a problem. He said that Pakistan never had trouble with the withdrawal of 370. The Pakistan Foreign Minister had said that this is an internal matter of India.
- He said that there is an objection to the removal of 35A to Pakistan. Pakistan is worried about this. Qureshi said that Pakistan has already clarified its view in this regard. The special thing is that Qureshi's statement came at a time when he left for a visit to Saudi Arabia.
- Earlier, Pakistan's stand on Article 370 was against India. Pakistan's Prime Minister Imran Khan opposed this decision of India in all international forums including the United Nations. However, at that time India argued that Article 370 is its internal matter. Despite this, Pakistan has been vigorously raising the matter in international forums.
- Qureshi's statement could have been called a U-turn in the case of Article 370. There are reports in Pakistan that Saudi Arabia and UAE are increasing pressure on Pakistan to resolve the Kashmir issue. Pakistan's stand on Article 370 is considered to be Saudi pressure.
