Pakistan's banned terrorist group elected new chief, Jala Khan Afridi will be chief

Pakistan's banned militant group Lashkar-e-Islam has named Jala Khan Afridi as its new chief. The organization has taken the action after fugitive leader Mangal Bagh was found dead in a roadside bomb in southern Afghanistan a few days ago.

A close associate of Bagh named Afridi as the new chief after the group members held a meeting in the Bander region of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. The Shura (council) named Bagh's son Tayyib alias Stranger as the new deputy commander.
