Nepal's Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has once again tried to create controversy over the birthplace of Lord Ram. Addressing a program of his faction of the Nepal Communist Party in Chitwan, he said that the construction work of the temple in the birthplace of Ram has started.
Oli is referring to a place near Birgunj, which he has previously dubbed as the real Ayodhya. However, at that time, not only India but Nepal leaders also objected to his statement.
He said that a master plan is being prepared for the construction of the Ram temple at Ayodhyapuri. The idol of Lord Rama has already been constructed. The idol of Maa Sita is under construction. Next year, Ram Navami will be organized in a grand manner in Ayodhyapuri, the birthplace of Lord Rama.
Oli claimed that the area would then turn into a spectacular tourist destination. Many pilgrims will make it their destination. Oli hoped that after the construction of the temple, Chitwan would become a major attraction for Hindus, archaeologists, civilization, and cultural experts of the world.
