Preparations are being made to reopen the United Nations Headquarters in New York. This has been confirmed by the spokesperson. On 2 July, Secretary-General Antonio Guterres issued a new guideline regarding the resumption of the work of the headquarters. UN Secretary-General's spokesman Stephane Dujarric said that preparations are being monitored for this. In mid-March, the UN headquarters in New York was closed to the general public and other activities. It will remain closed for the general public till October 1.
