India on Friday raised strong objection to the statement of UN Human Rights (UNHR) chief Michel Beshalet. India said that during the Corona transition, all governments are focusing on the fact that harmful and misinformation does not kill people.

In fact, Mitchell said on June 3 that many countries in Asia are imposing restrictions on freedom of expression, which is worrying. In a joint press release issued by India's Permanent Mission in Geneva, Indonesia, Cambodia, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Thailand, and Vietnam, Michelle expressed her displeasure over the statement.
