A federal security officer was injured in a shootout outside a court in Phoenix, USA. A person has been detained in connection with the incident. According to the city's police and FBI, the officer has been taken to the hospital and is out of danger.



FBI office Phoenix spokeswoman Jill McCabe said one person has been detained in connection with the incident. The FBI said that it is investigating the case, so will not provide further details about it. At the same time, the police have released a photo of a silver-colored car leaving the area.

An official said the court security officers work on the instructions of the US Marshals Service but are recruited by private security companies. Following the firing incident, the roads around the court were closed and security was beefed up. The court clerk said that the court is open to the public.
