Coronavirus: Russian scientists claim water is capable of killing coronavirus

Amid growing outbreaks of the coronavirus, scientists around the world are looking for ways to avoid it. Cleanliness of hands, social distancing, and masks are considered important to avoid coronavirus. The hands are being repeatedly asked to wash with soap. Meanwhile, Russian scientists have claimed that the corona is completely destroyed by water. This study is done by the State Research Center of Virology and Biotechnology Vector.

The virus is completely destroyed by boiling water

In this study, scientists have claimed that water can almost completely eliminate the corona within 72 hours. Scientists claimed that 90 percent of virus particles die in 24 hours and 99.9 percent of particles in water kept at room temperature. According to the study, the coronavirus dies at the temperature of boiling water. Although the virus can live in water under certain conditions, it does not grow in marine or freshwater. Apart from this, it has also been said that the virus is completely destroyed by boiling water.

Corona doesn't last long in one place

Scientists have claimed that the coronavirus remains active on stainless steel, linoleum, glass, plastic, and ceramic surfaces for up to 48 hours. At the same time, the research said that the virus does not stick to one place and most household disinfectants are effective in eliminating it.

Half minute hit Corona

According to research, 30 percent concentration of ethyl and isopropyl alcohol can kill one million particles of the virus in half a minute. This new study refutes previous claims that it required alcohol with more than 60 percent concentration to eliminate the virus. At the same time, according to the new study, chlorine has also proved to be very effective in disinfecting the surface and Sars Kovid-2 is completely destroyed within 30 seconds upon disinfecting with chlorine.
