Corona Havoc: Number of Infections in the World Crosses 2.02 Crore


188 countries of the world have been affected by the global pandemic Coronavirus (COVID-19) and the number of infected worldwide has exceeded 20 million, while it has killed about 7.39 lakh people so far.

The United States ranks first in the world, Brazil in second and India in third place in the case of COVID-19 infected. On the other hand, in the number of deaths due to this epidemic, America is first, Brazil is second, Mexico is third and Britain is in fourth place, while India is in fifth place in the number of deaths.

According to data released by John Hopkins University's Center for Science and Engineering (CSSE), Corona has infected 20,209,647 people worldwide and 739,96,000 people have died. So far, 5,141,013 people have been infected with the coronavirus in the US, which is considered a world superpower, and 164,536 people have died. So far, 3,057,477 people have been hit by it in Brazil, while 101,752 people have died.

According to the data released on Wednesday by the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, the number of cases of infections in a day has increased to 23,29,639 with the highest number of cases of 60,963 infections. During the last 24 hours, the death toll has reached 46,091, due to the death of 834 people.
