Biden accuses Russia : Attacking US sovereignty by spreading misinformation in 2022 election

President Biden has accused Russian President Vladimir Putin of trying to influence the 2022 US House of Representatives and state elections by spreading misinformation. He said that some of the steps being taken by Moscow are an outright attack on American sovereignty.

US President Joe Biden said this in the office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI), referring to the information received during his daily briefing. "Putin is at the root of the real problem," he said. He is sitting at the top of an economy that has nothing but nuclear power.

Putin knows he is surrounded by serious problems. This situation is making them more dangerous. Biden also raised concerns over recent ransomware attacks. In these attacks, cybercriminals stole the data and demanded huge ransoms for them. In 2022, elections are going to be held in all 435 seats of the House of Representatives, 34 seats going to be vacant in the Senate, and 36 states.
