Yellow and orange alerts have also been issued by the Meteorological Department in East and West Rajasthan. According to the Meteorological Department, this period of rain in the state can continue till August 2.
According to the Meteorological Department, today along with the capital Jaipur, Jhunjhunu, Sikar, Ajmer, Tonk, Dausa, Bharatpur, Dholpur, Alwar, Karauli, Sawai Madhopur, Churu, Hanumangarh district may receive heavy rains.
Whereas on Saturday, along with Jaipur, the Meteorological Department has expressed the possibility of heavy to very heavy rains at isolated places in Ajmer, Sikar, Jhunjhunu, Tonk, Bhilwara, Kota, Baran, Jhalawar, Nagaur, Churu districts. There is a possibility of heavy rain in some other districts on Saturday itself.
