There is good news for the railway passengers of Bihar. Indian Railways has resumed services of at least eight pairs of special passenger trains, originating from the jurisdiction of East Central Railway (ECR), from June 24.
ECR Chief Public Relations Officer (CPRO) Rajesh Kumar said that from June 24, Muzaffarpur-Narkatiyaganj, Patna-Bhabua Road (via Gaya and Ara), Danapur-Rajgir, Dhanbad-Ranchi, Howrah- Services of special passenger trains will be restored on Dhanbad, Ranchi-Deoghar, and Gaya-Dhanbad routes.
Meanwhile, the Bihar Daily Passengers Association has urged the railway authorities to connect the Patna-Buxar, Pt Deen Dayal Upadhyay Junction-Patna, Patna-Barauni via Patliputra Junction, Patna-Jhajha, Danapur-Mokama, Sasaram-Patna, and Islampur-Patna routes to MEMU at the earliest. It has been requested to restore the services of trains.
